DURING THIS PANDEMIC
we're staying informed and following best practices and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control, the Washington State Department of Health, and King County Public Health. (We recommend you do it too!) We're in close contact with other public-serving organizations in Seattle and following the lead of Seattle Public Schools, where a majority of our students attend.
While living rooms are becoming classrooms, the Bureau of Fearless Ideas wants to make sure that our students can continue to "Be Creative. Be Kind. Be. Fearless."
We've launched an interactive living periodical, the Fearless Times Online–a blog for EVERYONE from newcomers to long time stalwarts of the Fearless Ideas Community. Here, you can find creative ideas and inspiration, get information pertinent to the Fearless Ideas community, find links to cool events and resources, and stay connected during these isolating times. Check out and subscribe to the Fearless Times here!

COMMUNI-TEA TIME
Students already enrolled in our After School Tutoring Program attend daily, afternoon Communi-TEA Time hosted by our experienced program staff. Students pour a cup of soothing tea while they check-in with their cohorts, participate in group mindfulness exercises, find space to explore their emotional state and take part in and share writing and storytelling prompts and projects

SUMMER WORKSHOPS & CREATIVE ADVENTURE KITS
Our Summer Workshops program will returns in both digital and analog forms as part of our Fearless Summer.
Families can register for virtual (Zoom) workshops for both rising elementary and middle school grades, and for those who prefer a screen-free option, we're developing a physical Creative Adventure Kit–fill out an interest form if you'd be interested in getting one!
